We are seeking an exclusively part time Security Professional preferably with prior Security, Law Enforcement, Military, or Administrative experience. The weekly permanent schedule for this position is Saturday and Sunday 6:30am to 6:30pm, with potential opportunities to accept additional hours.
The primary physical location for this position is within a climate-controlled Gatehouse outside the primary facility. Other physical environments include exterior perimeter foot patrol areas.
This position is primarily an access control gatehouse operations position including, telecommunications, email, computer and hard copy documentation. Weigh station certification is a requirement of this position. Due to use of vehicle/golf cart, candidate must meet company requirements to drive a motor vehicle and release to MVR check. Superb clerical and administrative skills to include moderate experience with Microsoft Word and Excel are necessary skills.
Candidates must possess the ability to: critically think, and problem solve solutions to relevant issues that may be presented throughout their shifts; arrive on time; present themselves in a clean and tidy manner within proper company uniform standards.
A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP, and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives. Sun123
